COVID-19 Protocol for 2020

To meet our commitment to team and patient safety, we have implemented the following procedures:

If you have a cough, fever or symptoms of COVID-19 please do NOT come to the clinic and contact your medical practitioner.

COVID-19 Screening

All patients will be pre-screened prior to their appointment over the phone and a screening tool is available below:

Our team will ask you a few quick questions to verbally confirm the status of your health and any potential COVID-19 contact.

Team Screening

To minimize possible COVID-19 risk, at the beginning of every shift, our team will be screened prior to each shift.

All patients, visitors and staff must answer NO to ALL the following questions to be allowed at the clinic:

  1. Do you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, chills or any flu/cold-like symptoms?
  2. Have you or anyone from your household travelled outside of Canada in last 14 days?
  3. Is there any chance you’ve been in contact with someone with COVID-19 or any flu/cold like symptoms in the last 14 days?

Time of Arrival and Physical Distancing

Please arrive for your treatment right on time, and not early, to keep any contact or crowding in our clinic to a minimum.

Should you arrive early please call the clinic to determine if your practitioner is able to see you before you scheduled appointment time.

We ask that you maintain 6 feet between others at all times.

Appointments are being spaced out, and staggered between therapists, to minimize the amount of people in the clinic at one time.

A plexiglass barrier has been installed on our front desk to protect you and our team.

Hand Hygiene and Sanitation

Please sanitize your hands on entering the clinic and before leaving.

Practitioners will wash/sanitize their hands before and after each treatment.

We have implemented high frequency cleaning protocols within the clinic.

Face Protection

Our team will be wearing masks while in the clinic and we ask that patients arrive wearing their own mask. Masks are mandatory for Registered Massage Therapy clients. Masks may be available for purchase if needed.

Contactless Payment

Direct billing, touchless payment options such as credit or debit or e-transfer are available.

Statements are being emailed only in order to decrease exchange of paper.

Companions/Non Essential Visitors

Unless a patient requires a caregiver or is a guardian to a child under the age of 18 years old, we ask that patients attend their appointment alone.

Washroom Use

We are trying to minimize bathroom use. In other words, if you can go before you come to the office, that would be ideal. If not, don’t worry – it’s still available.
